Services and Tours — Egg Farm Benefits

Services and Tours

Welcome to Egg Farm Benefits. We invite families, schools, and food lovers to experience life on a working egg farm. Our guided tours, hands-on educational workshops, and flexible egg subscription boxes are designed to educate visitors about the benefits of chicken eggs, sustainable farming practices, and how eggs travel from coop to kitchen.

Guided Farm Tours

Our guided tours are suitable for all ages. You’ll meet our hens, walk through the pasture and coop areas, see how we collect and grade eggs, and watch a short demonstration of our simple, humane husbandry practices. Tours are led by a knowledgeable farm educator who will answer questions about nutrition, animal welfare, and the environmental benefits of small-scale egg production.

  • Schedule: Weekends at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Weekday tours available for groups by appointment.
  • Duration: Approximately 60 minutes.
  • Price: Adults $15, Children (3–12) $8, Under 3 free.
  • Group size: Standard tours accommodate up to 20 people. Larger groups or school field trips can be arranged.

Educational Workshops

Our workshops go deeper into topics for visitors who want a hands-on learning experience. Each workshop mixes demonstration with practical activities and take-home resources.

  • Egg Nutrition & Cooking: Learn egg nutrition basics, safety, and simple recipes—scrambles, custards, and poaching techniques. (90 minutes)
  • Incubation & Life Cycle: See eggs in the incubator and learn about chick development and brooding. Great for school groups. (60–90 minutes)
  • Coop Design & Care: Practical session on building safe, low-stress housing and daily care routines. Useful for new backyard keepers. (75 minutes)
  • Farm-to-Table Workshops: Pairing eggs with seasonal produce, preserving eggs, and sustainable packaging ideas. (2 hours)

Workshop pricing varies by topic and materials; typical ranges are $20–$45 per participant. Discounts are available for youth groups and recurring series.

Egg Subscription Boxes

Take the farm home with you. Our egg subscription boxes are fresh, pasture-raised eggs packaged sustainably and delivered or available for pickup. Subscriptions support predictable demand and help us reduce food waste while providing customers with reliably fresh eggs.

  • Weekly Box: 12 eggs per week — $14/week.
  • Biweekly Box: 12 eggs every two weeks — $15/delivery.
  • Monthly Bulk: 36 eggs once per month — $40/month.
  • Local Pickup: Save $1 per box with farm pickup during our market hours.

Boxes arrive in recyclable cartons. We offer custom notes for dietary or allergen information and can include farm newsletters or seasonal recipes upon request.
